Visual Art
By Diana GeRen
“Imagine the power that comes from loving yourself.”
About Me
I am a Colombian-born artist with a background in occupational therapy, a foundation that continues to shape my creative perspective today.
My artistic journey began through photography, where I spent several years running a boudoir studio focused on empowering women and supporting self-acceptance through image-making. That experience deepened my understanding of vulnerability, identity, and the emotional power of visual art.
My current work explores abstract and mixed media painting, combining texture, movement, and expressive layering. I am especially drawn to the balance between abstraction and realism—allowing each piece to evolve organically without rigid constraints.
Across all mediums, my work is rooted in the belief that art can be both expressive and therapeutic … a space where emotion, imperfection, and transformation coexist.
