About Diana
Diana GeRen is a Colombian-born, Florida-based visual artist whose work explores abstract impressionism, mixed media, texture, symbolism, movement, transformation, and freedom.
Her paintings emerge from intuitive decisions and emotional storytelling. Through layers of color, texture, gesture, and symbolism, Diana explores those moments in life when we feel the need to move forward—to overcome obstacles, discover new possibilities, embrace curiosity, and find freedom in the unexpected.
Her artistic perspective has been shaped by a diverse professional journey. With a background in Occupational Therapy, Diana developed an early understanding of the human experience, connection, and the ways people navigate change and transformation.
She later turned to photography, exploring a wide range of photographic disciplines before developing a distinctive body of work in Boudoir Photography. Through her photography, she sought to reveal the authentic beauty of each woman and create an experience centered on self-acceptance, confidence, and seeing oneself from a different perspective.
Today, those experiences continue to influence her approach to visual art. Whether through photography or painting, Diana is drawn to the beauty of transformation—the moment when something changes, unfolds, or becomes something new.
Her work invites the viewer to pause, feel, interpret, and discover their own meaning within each piece.
